AMERIPEN Annual Meeting, June 26-28 in Arlington, Va., to Feature Tour of Single-Stream Recycling Facility
Deadline for Special Hotel Rate Is May 28
WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The American Institute for Packaging and the Environment (AMERIPEN) has announced the program for its 2013 Annual Meeting, which will be held in Arlington, Virginia, June 26-28. A highlight of the event is the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Prince George's County single-stream recycling facility, part of the county's award-winning diversion program. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet AMERIPEN's new Executive Director, Donna Dempsey.
Attendance is open to AMERIPEN member companies and invited technical advisors. New members may attend this meeting and fully participate in all AMERIPEN activities if they join the organization by May 24, 2013. Companies interested in AMERIPEN's activity are urged to join now so that they can participate in this event and influence the future of packaging and the environment.
Members in good standing have opportunities to provide input prior to the meeting. The deadline to reserve hotel rooms at the event's special discounted rate is May 28, and event registration will close on June 7.

The output of this meeting will set the agenda for AMERIPEN activity in the coming year.
