AMTA/AWWA Membrane Technology Conference & Exposition Comes to Orlando, Florida

DENVER -- American Membrane Technology Association and the American Water Works Association will present the latest in developments in membrane water treatment technologies at the Membrane Technology Conference and Exposition. The premier event will take place March 2-6, 2015 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla.

This year the conference will feature four tracks focusing on membrane filtration applications, brackish water and seawater treatment, wastewater and industrial, regional issues, research and other applications and new innovations.

Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to register for five Sunday workshops covering membrane basics, reverse osmosis, potable reuse and membrane biofouling.

The Opening General Session on Monday, March 2 will kick off with a high-energy performance from The Jake and Elwood Blues Revue!, a Blues Brothers tribute show. The keynote speaker will be Emilio “Sonny” Vergara, who has been involved in Florida’s water and related environmental protection issues for more than 40 years.

Full-conference registration includes access to all technical sessions, three luncheons, three networking receptions, poster sessions and access to the exhibit hall Experts in the Round education sessions discussing top issues in the membrane industry today. Attendees are encouraged to register online by Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. MST before registration rates increase on site.
