In early August 2010 Xenemetrix held an international training at Xenemetrix LTD headquarters in Israel. The 4 day seminar explored Xenemetrix product lines and customer solutions. Seven Agents and Customers from the Far East and Europe acquired a greater knowledge of Xenemetrix products including hands-on spectrometer experience as well as practical applications skills. Xenemetrix, will periodically hold this type of training as well as more advanced trainings for our customers and agents. If you are interested in attending a training, or for more information, please contact me, Gil Snir International Sales Manager, at email@example.com Some Comments from Agents attending this training: 'It was a really good experience for us, we took away a lot of practical knowledge that will help us be successful”. “I am excited to partner with Xenemetrix as we work towards our common goals for a successful future”.

Waters Advances Proteomics and Lipidomics Research with Novel Mass Spectrometry Acquisition Mode
Waters Corporation(NYSE: WAT) introduces a new data acquisition mode,SONAR™, for its Xevo®G2-XS quadrupole time-of-flight (QTof) mass spectrometer (MS) that provides MS/MS data from data-independent acquisitions (DIA). The technology enables analytical scientists to be more efficient in the laboratory and have more confidence in the results they generate. SONAR data allows for the quantification and identification of lipids, metabolites, and proteins in complex samples from a single injection without...
Edinburgh Instruments’ Spectrometers help developing infrared lasers
Research in optical materials is rapidly moving towards stable, high-power laser sources emitting in the mid-infrared (mid-IR) region. Despite their promising applications, there are currently not many commercially available lasers for this range of wavelengths (2 μm ‒ 8 μm). One of their main applications is in absorption spectroscopy for the detection of trace gases and atmospheric pollutants: many organic compounds have characteristic mid-IR bands, so the detection in this region is highly selective....
