Each year, EU-OSHA participates in the Annual Conference of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) to have the opportunity to build new connections in the scope of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This encounter took place this time in Brussels from 8 to 10 June and it was mainly about bringing together new and old Network partners to lay the groundwork for the Network to reach its full potential. Around 800 people, including 650 Network partners, representatives from European Institutions and key external stakeholders attended the conference.
The 'EEN Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Awards', organised by EU-OSHA, were also part of the programme and Peter Wragg, Head of Unit in DG GROW, handed-over the awards certificates. EU-OSHA also coordinated and actively participated in the 'EEN OSH Ambassadors meeting'. Information about OSH and EU-OSHA projects were disseminated at a corporate stand during the two days of the event and Napo mascot went around the venue encouraging participants to respond to an OSH quiz to be eligible for three nice prizes.
