Anguil Environmental Systems has added a Plate Heat Exchanger to their list of energy conservation products. The new offering will supplement their shell and tube exchanger product line offering customers the opportunity to achieve greater energy efficiency.

With rising energy costs, manufacturers recognize the need to reduce energy costs and are striving for greater energy efficiency. The new Anguil Plate Heat Exchanger can achieve up to 80% heat recovery and be used on certain applications where the shell and tube exchanger was once thought to be the only option. In addition to greater efficiencies the new design offers lower pressure drops, smaller equipment footprint and reduced capital cost.

Anguil offers custom or standard size units, with multiple flow patterns and various materials of construction for condensing and corrosive airstreams. Options include insulation, expansion joints, access doors, automatic wash systems, supply fans and dampers. The all metal, all welded plate exchanger has an inline dimple pattern for strength at high temperatures with zero cross contamination.

Integrated into an existing system or installed as a stand-alone piece of equipment, the new Anguil Plate Heat Exchanger has many practical applications:

- Recover heat from oven or other higher temperature exhausts and return it as process heat.
- Recover heat from lower temperature plant exhausts and return to make-up air units for plant comfort heat
- Repair or rebuild existing heat exchangers to maximize the efficiency of the current system
- Replace old heat recovery equipment with state of the art designs
