Antea Group is excited to announce that staff professional Allie Gruber has earned the Sustainable Accounting Standard Board (SASB) Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Level One Credential.
The Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting is an innovative program which combines two exams to assess professional expertise in the materiality of sustainability information for corporate strategy and investment analysis. The exam focuses on the impact of sustainability factors on financial performance, the legal context of material sustainability information, as well as the development of a common language to describe the materiality of sustainability information to finance, legal and accounting professionals.
The FSA Credential is unique in that it combines the rigors of finance and accounting with sustainability, while integrating material sustainability information into mainstream investing and corporate management practices. At the forefront of the field, research has shown that a knowledge of SASB’s approach can help corporate professionals, advisors, and investors protect long-term value.
At Antea Group, Allie focuses on managing, analyzing, and modeling environmental and sustainability data, forecasting carbon emissions, and corporate reporting and disclosure strategy. She plans to take the Level Two exam when it becomes available.
