MINNEAPOLIS - Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARCI) today announced that Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO), a division of NiSource Inc., has selected ARCA to be the turnkey provider of refrigerator and freezer recycling services for the utility's Appliance Recycling Program. The program began on August 9, 2010.
Through this program, participating utility customers who turn in operating but energy inefficient refrigerators and freezers will be eligible for a $35.00 incentive check for each qualifying appliance, with a maximum of two units per year.
