Manchester, 29 June 2011 -- As part of the newly created position, Craig will be responsible for the development of manufacturing and supply chain functions across the business, including responsibility for cogeneration systems from 4kW to 10MW and a range of engines in sizes from 165kW to 2MW available for biogas applications. He will report to ENER-G Group Managing Director, Derek Duffill.
Craig, aged 38, joins ENER-G from Magna Decoma, the worldwide automotive supplier where in his two years as Operations Manager, he was instrumental in driving process improvements, operational performance and profitability.
Previously he held senior management positions at CPI Card Group Ltd, where he significantly improved productivity levels, and at PPG Industries (UK) Ltd, where he introduced lean manufacturing and optimised product and data flows. Prior to this, he spent three years as Operations Manager at Ifor Williams Trailers Ltd and successfully managed a major expansion programme and relocation of manufacturing operations.
Commenting on Craig’s appointment, Derek Duffill said: “With almost 15 years’ experience and a proven track record of delivering tangible and sustainable improvements in a variety of complex fabrication, assembly and continuous flow environments, we are delighted to welcome Craig to the group.
“Given his wealth of knowledge of modern manufacturing methods, he is highly qualified to oversee and further improve ENER-G’s manufacturing activities.'

Craig holds a degree in manufacturing engineering and has extensive experience of implementing world class manufacturing techniques, lean principles and change management.
