EPA announces further delay of Lead and Copper Rule revisions
Planned revisions to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency`s Lead and Copper Rule regulating lead and copper content in drinking water has been delayed another six months. The new revisions were scheduled to be released this summer, but given delays at EPA due to regulatory review and the lack of an assistant administrator for the Office of Water, even the new deadline of January 2018 seems optimistic.
