Saudi Aramco, principle sponsor of WEPower 2011, has announced they are to demonstrate renewable energy and power efficiency initiatives during the exhibition in May.
Taking place at the Dhahran International Exhibitions Centre, from 14-16 May 2011, WEPower combines an international exhibition and strategic conference to serve the entire water & power industry.
Musaab Almulla, Head of Energy and Cogeneration Group at Aramco states: “During WEPower, Saudi Aramco will present and demonstrate the massive cogeneration program and several renewable energy initiatives. Furthermore, the company’s arc flash awareness program will be shared with power sectors participants.”
A host of international water & power developers have now confirmed to exhibit alongside Aramco, such as Siemens, EDF Saudi Arabia and Severn Trent Services as well country pavilions from China and India, have now confirmed to exhibit alongside Aramco. The pavilions will feature the largest manufacturers in water & power from these nations that are looking to develop their business in the region.
Alongside the international exhibition is the strategic conference, featuring distinguished speakers such as; H.E. Fehied Fahad AlShareef, Governor, SWCC, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shehri, Governor, ECRA and H.E. Loay Al-Musallam, CEO, National Water Company.
The conference will focus on specific project opportunities and give delegates clear insight into investment opportunities and the future of the industry. A new feature on the 2011 programme is the water & power stream, where delegates have the option to attend either a power or water day to focus on issues most relevant to their organisation.
