Arlington Packaging collects Severn Trent Water Award for outstanding contribution to the Gloucestershire Floods 2007

During the floods, Arlington provided Severn Trent Water with the Arlington Combo to store and distribute essential safe drinking water to the residents of Gloucestershire of at least 10 litres per head every day.

In recognition of all their hard work, Severn Trent Water were proud to acknowledge Arlington’s outstanding contribution to this year’s Gloucester Floods at a recent awards ceremony in Birmingham.

Held at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum on 2nd October, Arlington’s Managing Director Harry Fairbank was presented with the award for outstanding contribution by Tony Wray of Severn Trent Water.

Harry commented “We are extremely proud that the Arlington Combo has been such a successful resource in times of emergency planning response and are delighted to have been recognised for this by Severn Trent. We look forward to working with them and their team again in the future.”

The celebratory lunch and ceremony was held for all key suppliers and contractors who have contributed during the Gloucester Floods in July 2007 to acknowledge their efforts by Severn Trent Water.
