The 25th anniversary of Aquatech Amsterdam, held last week over World Water Week, sawmore than 18,000 international water technology professionals convene in RAI Amsterdam.This provided atg UV Technologywith the perfect platformto present the latest developments in UV technology, and to unveil its unique advanced oxidation solution, Keratox.
Recognised by an esteemed judging panel as‘trendsetters for the next generation of product development’, dealing with one of the most pressing concerns of the sector, Keratox was nominated for the prestigious Aquatech Innovation award. The jury panel assessed entrants on the basis of originality, practicality, and sustainability.
‘It is satisfying to see that the Aquatech Innovation Award, and those who are seeking to win it are matching the trends in the water sector,’ says Buisman.
Utilising established UV technologyin combination with a unique (TiO2) catalyst,Keratox is a chemical-free Advanced Oxidation process for the treatment and removal of organic & chemical contaminants from drinking water and wastewater in order to meet new regulations, such as the EU Priority Substances Directive.
Together with this nomination, atg UV Technologyreceived a TV interview, a presentation slot and were able toshowcase the Keratox product on the InnovationLAB, which focuses on presenting the latest industry developments that will help shape the future of the sector.
Alongside the Keratox product, atg UV displayed their latest range of systems. This included the newly launched Wafer range;the most compact UV system on the market to date.
