August Mack Environmental, Inc., a full-service environmental, health and safety (EH&S) consulting firm, is pleased to announce its partnership with the Monroe County Long Term Recovery Committee (MCLTRC), a program of United Way of Monroe County, to assist in the recovery efforts from the severe storms and floods of 2008.
A regular recipient of the United Way of Central Indiana’s Company that Cares Award, August Mack, is providing microbial inspection, sampling, remediation protocol development, post-remediation inspection and sampling as well as general microbial consulting services to the MCLTRC at a substantial discount. To date, August Mack has worked with the MCLTRC to provide these services to more than 16 residences in Monroe County with the potential to help more residences in the coming months. Additionally, August Mack has teamed with a laboratory, EMSL Analytical, to provide discounted lab rates for these projects as well. “August Mack is extremely honored to be able to help the residents of Monroe County recover from the effects of the 2008 flood. Given our long-time participation with United Way, it was an easy decision to help out on this project when we were first approached about the opportunity. We look forward to continuing our partnership with United Way of Monroe County and helping many more residents in their recovery efforts,” said senior manager and project team leader, Brian Wilson.
