AWWA and Bentley offer webcast on WaterGEMS’ criticality


DENVER, CO -- The American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Bentley announced today that they will present the “WaterGEMS’ Criticality: A Software Tool for Renewal Planning and Risk Assessment” webcast on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

Sponsored by Bentley, the webcast will introduce WaterGEMS’ Criticality, a software tool for municipalities and water utilities to adopt water distribution modeling, to assist with asset management, and to implement renewal planning.

Attendees will learn the benefits of using this decision-support tool for identification and prioritization of renewal projects, improvement of contingency planning and emergency preparedness, and to assist in conserving water infrastructure resources. Case studies will demonstrate how the tool has optimized water utility distribution systems.
