AWWA releases updated edition of M49 Quarter-Turn Valves
DENVER -- The third edition of the American Water Works Association’s M49 Quarter-Turn Valves: Head Loss, Torque, and Cavitation Analysis is now available.
M49 assists technicians and engineers to understand the available methods to use quarter-turn valves and to understand their cavitation, flow and torque characteristics.
Previously titled M49 Butterfly Valves, this edition includes updated information on other quarter-turn valves, such as ball, plug and rotary cone. Updated information on Equivalent Resistant System Model is also incorporated.
