DENVER -- The American Water Works Association announced today the release of a mobile app for exclusive use at this year’s Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE13). The app will bring the world’s largest water conference, to be held in Denver on June 9-13, to users’ phones and tablet devices. The free app is ready for download now from iTunes for Apple devices and Google Play store for Android devices.
The ACE13 mobile app will allow users to view the conference schedule for professional sessions, special events and committee meetings, as well as build a personalized agenda that can be downloaded as appointments. Users can find exhibitors and view where they are located in the convention exhibit hall. Conference news and other social media feeds found in the mobile app will keep attendees informed of what’s going on at ACE13. Attendees new to Denver can also locate local area restaurants, shops, movie theaters and venues to enjoy in Denver.
AWWA encourages ACE13 attendees to download the mobile app prior to attending the conference so that any valuable updates and information can be accessed as needed. The digital version of the ACE13 conference program is now also available on the AWWA website and includes information that can be accessed in advance of the conference.
Media Note: Accredited members of the media may attend ACE13 at no charge. However, they are required to register with AWWA Public Affairs beforehand. For media registration, please fill out a registration form or contact Deirdre Mueller at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-347-6140.
