DENVER, CO -- The American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced today that it will host the “Biofiltration: A Low-Cost Solution to High-Quality Water (W1115)” webcast on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
The webcast will describe the advantages of utilizing biofiltration to improve water quality and reduce treatment costs. Presenters will discuss approaches to enhance hydraulics and contaminant removal, and how to incorporate membrane softening and biofiltration into operations.
