DENVER, CO -- The American Water Works Association (AWWA) will host an Oct. 5 webcast that helps utilities implement water-budget rates as part of their conservation strategies.
The webcast, titled “Effective Implementation of Water-Budget Rates,” introduces the concepts of budget-based rates as presented in the upcoming revised edition of the AWWA M1 Manual, Principles of Water Rates, Fees, and Charges. Experts will explain benefits and techniques of applying budget-based rates consistent with cost-of-service principles. Two case studies will be featured.
