Surcis will participate in the course about “The role of the Protists in the Wastewater Treatment Processes” organized by GBS research group in the Biology Faculty of Seville University

Surcis will participate in the course about “The role of the Protists in the Wastewater Treatment Processes” organized by GBS research group, during the 9 and 10th September, within the session “Toxicity effect in on the protozoa community”

Surcis will share this session with some GBS researchers to explain the importance of the BM Respirometry as a complementary tool to the microscopic Bioindication for detection and assessment of Inhibition cases due to inadequate conditions in the process or for acute toxicity referred to the specific activated sludge of the plant.

This course includes the participation of national and international speakers in the frame of the VII European Congress of Protistology (VII ECOP) organized by the specialized group of Protistologia (GEP) of the Spanish society of Microbiology and the collaboration of the Federation of European Protistological Societies (FEPS).

In addition, the persons registered in this course, will have the option to attend the Workshop 'Protist Relevance in Wastewater Treatment' also held in the city of Seville.
