Bruel & Kjaer UK’s service goes interactive

Leading sound and vibration manufacturer, Bruel and Kjaer UK has launched an online tool to make its service and repair booking process quicker for customers.

Run via Bruel and Kjaer’s UK website, this new facility can be used by anyone with equipment for calibration or repair - and has many flexible features including: no contract requirement, single or multiple booking choices, an agreed spending limit option and quotation request.

With an online booking customers’ equipment will also be collected - free of charge - on a day and time to suit them, from anywhere in the UK.

The interactive booking form and free equipment collection join a host of features Bruel and Kjaer has created to improve customer service, such as free minor repairs during the calibration, available loan instruments and Pre Calibration Inspection - prior to calibration - to ensure units are actually fit to under go testing.

“Developed to simplify service procedures and give customers more control over their equipment, the booking tool is a typical example of Bruel and Kjaer’s expert service range, which has continually developed over the 25 years the company has been in the calibration business,” says Managing Director, William Egan. “It’s these practical, customer-focused qualities which set us apart from other service suppliers.”

Bruel & Kjaer’s service is UKAS accredited to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring both traceable and accredited calibration for many sound and vibration equipment including sound level meters, microphones, calibrators and accelerometers.
