Ecova and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation partner on business delegation tour of the Circular Economy in Action
Ecova, the total energy and sustainability management company, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation are partnering to host an inaugural business tour on the Circular Economy in Seattle November 9 and 10. Companies are actively pursuing innovative approaches that encourage economic growth using yesterday’s waste as tomorrow’s resource. The circular economy is a regenerative model that aims to keep components, materials and products at their highest value at all times, creating no waste for the landfill.
Join Ecova, the Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a number of Ecova clients and industry leaders to share best practices and bring to life cutting edge solutions to eradicate waste using proven circular economy principles and programs.
“We have the opportunity to create a vibrant economy that harmonizes with our environment,” said Jacqueline Drumheller, manager, sustainability, for Alaska Airlines. “As our global economy continues to grow, meeting the increasing demand for products and services with finite natural resources will be challenging.”
The tour will convene forward-thinking businesses and other industry experts to observe and share best practices for successfully re-thinking and re-designing business models, materials, products, and systems that unlock the value ofclosing the loop, to accelerate scalable solutions across global supply chains.
