Time is of the essence. The organizers – AVEBIOM and Fundación Cesefor – know this, so that is why they already have exhibitor applications on the table. Knowing that the discount period was to start, some enterprises were already requesting information last month about the upcoming event. Curiously, international brands are proving more far-sighted this year. By mid December, companies from Germany, Austria, Brazil and Holland had already put their bookings in. Spain's position in the sector is consolidated, and is attracting the attention of European firms. According to ‘Statistical Review of World Energy 2011’ from BP, production of bio-fuels in our country came to 10.4% of European production, raising the Spanish market's annual quota to European levels.
Expobioenergía 2012 not only rewards the “early bird” exhibitors, but also the more loyal ones. All those that confirm their booking to participate in the coming event before the 17th of February will also enjoy a 20% discount on exhibition space. And for those that were exhibitors in 2011, the discount on hired floorspace will be 40%. At the same time, prices have been kept at the same level as last year.
Besides the strictly economic benefits of booking a stand early, there are other advantages to getting involved during the first period: the choice of a better position in the hall from the stands available and knowledge that the organizers will have more time to devote to your application if it is one of the first.
Specialised clients for exhibitors
According to data gathered from surveys carried out by the organizers, the level of satisfaction for exhibitors at Expobioenergía in 2011 continues to be high with one of the most valued aspects being, in short, “the contacts made and the work generated after the fair”. Among the most positive factors, exhibitors focus their attention on “the high level of attendance by professionals from the industry thanks to the fair's specialisation”, and they are also influenced by the fact that “the different events organised offer a wide range of participation for both exhibitors and clients” and “the chance to present the companies' recent projects to the public”.
In more general terms, the surveys contained repeated references and descriptions such as “a reference for the industry”, “a very specific fair”, “high degree of professionalism”, “specialised clients”, “focussed visitors”, “informed professionals” and “the event's clear focus”.
A unique and exclusive diary date
Expobioenergía continues to be a date in the diary of visiting professionals that is “unique” and “exclusive” according to those surveyed during the 6th event. 55% stated that they did not attend other fairs and, more importantly, over 60% said they were attending the event for the first time. In terms of general satisfaction, Expobioenergía has reached its highest level for the last four years. The trend is also upwards in the evaluation of the quality and quantity of exhibitors, the number and scheduling of the days on which the fair is held, and the organisation in general.
Most professionals point out that they saw “more technology” and “a better presence of machinery” than in previous years. Likewise, 90% of those interviewed stated that they had found what they had been looking for. At the same time, 30% of professionals said they represented “new” companies in the industry, in other words, that they were attending Expobioenergía with a view to introducing themselves in the sector.
The 7th Expobioenergía will be held on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of October, 2012 in Valladolid.
