PITTSBURGH, PA -- Power management company Eaton is showcasing an expanded product and service portfolio at the 2015 Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating (AHR) Exposition in Chicago from Jan. 26 through 28, 2015. At booth #4423, visitors can consult with application experts and interact with Eaton’s latest solutions specifically designed to help heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) customers meet energy efficiency requirements, simplify systems management and lower total cost of ownership.
“With a comprehensive portfolio of power management solutions and expert global engineering network, Eaton is positioned to solve the real-world problems HVAC/R customers face each day – minimizing downtime, reducing installation costs, streamlining management and enhancing energy efficiency,” said Robert Fenton, product line manager, Eaton.
Eaton’s products and services on display at AHR Expo booth #4423 include new innovations such as:
- Power Xpert® Multi-Point meter designed to help facility managers track and accurately allocate energy usage among tenants or departments. The meter can also accurately aggregate gas, water, and steam consumption to enable a comprehensive view into utility usage. And unlike similar devices, the product can integrate within panelboards, switchboards or enclosures to save space and reduce installation time.
- The 4Dimension™ strut system designed to change how installers build and install support systems. The revolutionary strut profile designs and innovative accessories help installers compress project schedules and reduce costs without sacrificing load while increasing configuration flexibility. With up to four-sided functionality, the 4Dimension strut system can deliver up to 50 percent savings on materials and installation time.
- PowerXL® DE1 Variable Speed Starters, a revolutionary solution that combines the functionality of an eletromechanical starter and an adjustable frequency drive. By combining ease of use, compact size, and out-of-the-box starting capability, the DE1 is designed for customers that have basic applications, but still require variable frequency and advanced motor protection. The Class J power distribution fuse block with power distribution capability uses up to 50 percent less panel space and reduces installation time and labor by 33 percent when compared with traditional solutions. The innovative and patented product uses fewer wire connections, reducing watts loss and overall operating temperature. It is available with ratings of 100, 200 and 400 amps, making it ideal for HVAC/R applications.
