EU-OSHA backs the Scaffold project: innovative methods and tools for occupational risks management of manufactured nanomaterials in the construction industry
The Scaffold project departs from a pan-European consortium of technological organisations related to the manufactured nanomaterials and nanocomposites in the construction industry, with the aim of protecting its workers by identifying potential new risks to their health and safety. To reach the objective, they collect, review and analyse relevant information to provide construction companies with new strategies, methods and tools to appropriately manage these emerging risks.
EU-OSHA relies on the project by endorsing their activities as a good initiative to improve working conditions in a sector with such a quick and continuous evolution.
