Formaldehyde in the Indoor Environment Discussed in New Online Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
Phoenix, AZ, February 5th, 2023 -- The IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video today. Their newest production discusses formaldehyde exposure risks in the built environment.
“Families, building occupants and workers can be exposed to formaldehyde from a number of different indoor sources,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane & Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “Exposure can cause a variety of negative health effects, including eye, nose and throat irritation, or it could trigger an asthma attack in some people with the condition. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has even classified formaldehyde as a human carcinogen. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on formaldehyde so that steps can be taken to eliminate or mitigate indoor exposure risks.”
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
