Free and Connected – IDS Goes Wireless
The IDS system turns work in the laboratory and in the field upside down: Wireless measurement of pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen and turbidity.
Everywhere where cable or the direct applications of meters are disturbing they can be replaced by wireless modules. That means: convenient measurement under laboratory hoods, laminar flow benches glove boxes or at sampling spots in a plant or or or…
All measurement values will be stored in the meter at a simple push of a button. WTW offers for all parameters a wide range of IDS sensors with plug heads.
Additionally to the new sensors new meters working with wireless modules will be introduced. The only need a small module to be plugged into a measurement channel. According to the number of meter channels one, two or three parameters could be measured at the same time.
The easiest entry to the new wireless technology in the laboratory is the inoLab® Multi 9310 IDS. In April the convenient inoLab®Multi 9620 and 9630 will replace the current inoLab® Multi 9420 IDS and inoLab® Multi 9430 IDS. All new meters will appear in a new colored keypad. Existing inoLab® 9310 IDS could be upgraded for wireless measurement by a simple firmware update.
Since this year the new MultiLine® Multi 3510 IDS, a single channel multi parameter instrument with graphic display and battery operation, is already available. It will replace the current Multi 3410. The new high-end portables of the MultiLine® series Multi 3620 and Multi 3630 will replace the current Multi 3420 and Multi 3430. Starting in April they are differentiated by a new colored keypad. Existing Multi 3510 IDS will also be upgraded for wireless measurement by a firmware update.
