Phoenix, AZ, March 10th, 2019 -- Today, the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video. Their newest production discusses glutaraldehyde, its many uses and the potential for worker exposure to this chemical.
“Glutaraldehyde is used for everything from disinfecting and sterilization of surfaces and equipment to a chemical intermediate in the production of a number of materials,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health reports that the two main human exposure routes include inhalation and skin contact. Health effects can range from allergic dermatitis to throat and lung irritation. We hope this new video helps to educate the public about potential occupational exposures to glutaraldehyde.”
This educational video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
