Great Opportunities in the Czech Republic
The Czech republic is implementing new wastewater legislation from 01/09/2010.
1. Domestic sewage treatment plants are all to be installed without any tertiary treatment (soakaways), effluent water to be discharged directly to river/lake or other watercourse.
2. EN12566-3 tested wwtp's will not need to be routinely tested after installation.
3. Wwtp's that are NOT EN12566-3 tested, if installed, will require a minimum of two independent tests for water quality each year.
4. Septic tank soakaways and Drainfields will no longer be allowed except in areas where watercourses are not available. All discharges will have to be direct to watercourse.
This opens up the Czech Republic to all UK wwtp manufacturers whose plants have the EN 12566-3 2005 Certification
.Septic tanks will no longer be allowed.
