HORIBA Scientific To Offer Free Webinar on Using Low Energy Raman Spectroscopy to Probe Solid State Structures
Source: HORIBA Europe GmbH
HORIBA Scientific, a global leader in Raman Spectroscopy, is pleased to be offering a free webinar focusing on demonstrating the use of low-energy Raman spectroscopy to probe solid state structure and chemical bond interactions.
The webinar, entitled, “Raman Spectroscopy and Imaging of Low-Energy Phonons,” will be offered on Thursday, June 16th, at 10:00am PDT/1:00PM EDT. It will be moderated by Laura Bush, Editorial Director of Spectroscopy. Content will be provided by David Tuschel, Manager of Raman Applications for HORIBA Scientific.
This webinar is targeted at pharmaceutical and materials scientists, as well as 2D crystal device engineers and scientists.
Attendees will learn about that portion of the Raman spectrum most sensitive to solid state structure, crystal form, and chemical bond interactions. Specifically, David will discuss the sensitivity of low-energy phonons to the structure of 2D crystals, complementarity of reflected light and low-energy Raman imaging and the probing of chemical bond interactions through the Raman band structure of low-energy phonons.
To register for the free webinar, please go to: Raman Spectroscopy and Imaging of Low Energy Phonons.
