Husky Portable Containment Announces New Products, Patents, More Growth
Source: Husky Portable Containment
Husky Portable Containment, a company originally founded in Skiatook in December 2004 and now located in Dewey, has announced two new patented products.
Husky has two divisions – firefighting and environmental containment.
Since 2005, Husky has gone from a brand-new business in the firefighting industry to a leading manufacturer of Folding Frame Tanks, Self Supporting Tanks and related products.
In 2009, Husky relocated to Dewey due to the fact of its growth, and now it is in the process of building a state-of-the-art manufacturing building in Bartlesville due to more growth.
The firm has announced that its patented 'Easy Lift Handles' (U.S. Patent No. 8,746,478 and other Patents Pending) that are welded to the floor of its liners have been a huge advantage for the firefighters out in the field.
Another announcement from Husky is a second patent that was recently awarded for its Quick Dump (U.S. Patent No. 8,733,579). The 'Quick Dump' is the answer fo firemen to get their folding frame tanks emptied quickly when the fire scene is in its tear-down stages. They just release the d-rings and latch and watch their tank drain in 20 seconds or so.
Husky Portable Containment is owned by Jay and Pam Claeys of Bartlesville.
