Inprova Energy appoints energy industry leader to guide energy purchasing strategies

Cheshire, UK -- Paul Taylor, former Chairman of Haven Power and board director of Drax Group PLC, has joined Inprova Energy's Governance Panel to guide the development and implementation of energy purchasing strategies.

Magnus Walker, Director of Trading and Risk Management at Inprova Energy, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Paul to our Governance Panel, which is responsible for agreeing and overseeing purchasing strategies and risk limits to protect client interests.  He will help ensure that agreed plans are adhered to and that they match market conditions.

He will offer a fresh perspective to the trading team and ensure trading activities are benchmarked and reported appropriately.”

Paul Taylor said: “I am delighted to join Inprova Energy’s Governance Panel. As an external and independent stakeholder, my focus will be on closely monitoring the current and future flexible product range on behalf of Inprova’s clients.”

Inprova Energy is one of the top ten business energy procurement and management consultancies in the UK, managing around 3,000 gas and electricity supply contracts worth nearly £1 billion.

The company was launched as the energy division of Inprova Group in 2016, bringing together three of the UK's leading energy consultancies (energyTEAM, ENER-G Procurement, and UES Energy), which have a 40-year history.
