Delft, The Netherlands (September 14-16, 2010)

We are organizing a 3-day Environmental Data Management course in Delft, The Netherlands from September 14-16, 2010. This course includes an introduction to the management and analysis of groundwater data using Hydro GeoAnalyst and incorporates discussions of where the data comes from, how it is imported/analyzed and how it can be used in further hydrogeologic analysis and modeling.

Some of the topics that will be covered in the course presentations and computer exercises include:

  • Database design, data entry and database management
  • Techniques for querying an environmental database
  • Developing borehole logs and cross-sections to interpret site hydrogeology
