LumiCalc: How to Take ATP Measurements

Source: LuminUltra Technologies Ltd.

Overview: The ATP input page is designed for intuitive and user-friendly data input. With a PhotontMaster, the input of RLU values is all done automatically through direct integration with LumiCalc while other luminometers require RLU values to be manually entered.  Regardless of the luminometer used, when taking ATP measurements, the first step is always to collect an ATP standard value.  This conversion removes the variability in the assay due to enzyme activity, luminometer operation and environmental conditions by normalizing all RLU values against the 1ng/mL ATP standard.  The ATP standard measurement only has to be collected once per testing session and ensures all of your data is converted by the software.
