Bad Marienberg -- VECOPLAN environmental technology sector received an order with a budget of about 20 million euros. This represents the biggest business deal, not only in the company history of VECOPLAN, but also one of the most important individual orders for M.A.X. Automation.
VECOPLAN will provide relevant equipment for a pellet plant with a planned annual capacity of around one million tons of pellets for German Pellets in Louisiana/U.S. This is a follow-up order: Last year VECOPLAN was entrusted by German Pellets with the delivery of process equipment for a similar facility in the U.S. State of Texas. This plant has a capacity of around 500,000 tons of pellets per year.
VECOPLAN basically plans, supplies and installs four plant areas: the wet milling, the dryer loading and dryer discharge, the dry milling, the boiler feeding and the complete conveying technology for the system. The entire process is operated by VECOPLAN control units. VECOPLANs scope of services is completed through start-up and operator training.
Bernd Priske, CEO of M.A.X. Automation AG: 'The M.A.X. Automation continues the recent series of large orders and right at the beginning of the year registers one of the largest individual orders in its history. We see this performance as clear evidence of the extensive competence of our subsidiary VECOPLAN in the environmental area and thus the power to compete in international business. Furthermore this new major contract confirms as expected that the already last year announced orders in the environmental technology sector are reflected into concrete incoming orders.'
