Latest Generation Refinery Features Greatly Enhanced Efficiency and Potential Net Margins

TAMPA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 07/19/11 -- MagneGas Corporation ('MagneGas' or the 'Company') (OTCBB: MNGA), the producer of a technology that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based metal working fuel and natural gas alternative, announced today the completion of all research and development on a new generation of Plasma Arc Through™ ('PAT') Refineries for the local production of the metal cutting MagneGas™ Fuel wherever and whenever desired. For both the Company and clients this could mean a significant reduction in the costs (logistical, insurance and others) associated with the transportation and storage of metal working fuels.

'I am pleased to announce to both our customers and shareholders the completion of all necessary R&D on, and the initiation of regular production of, the new series of European Certified PAT Refineries,' stated Dr. Ruggero Santilli, CEO of MagneGas Corporation and the initiator of the Technology. 'The Refineries are available to our customers with power ranging from 100 kWh to 300 kWh and in various configurations, be they floor mounted or trailer mounted for mobility. These MagneGas™ Refineries are based on our previously announced, fully owned Patent Application on the novel PAT process. This process has distinct advantages over the preceding Plasma Arc Flow™ process, including a significant increase in the volume of MagneGas™ produced for a given power, reducing variable operating costs and thus potentially increasing net margins.'

MagneGas has made available a brochure presenting the new series of PAT Refineries, including production data and purchase prices -- to view the brochure please visit
