March and April PSERC Webinars on CERTS Research

The Power System Engineering Research Center (PSERC) is offering a free, public webinar series based on past and ongoing research coordinated by the Consortium for Electric Reliability Technology Solutions (CERTS) with funding provided by the Department of Energy. The webinars began in January 2014 and will run through April 2014.

March 4, 2014, 2–3 pm ET: Simulation Modeling of Power Plant Emission Regulations: Why a Detailed Economic-Engineering-Environmental Model is Needed. Presented by William Schulze of Cornell University and Dan Shawhan of Rensselaer Polytechnic.

April 1, 2014, 2–3 pm ET: The System Benefits of Managing Demand Flexibility and Storage Efficiently. Presented by Eilyan Bitar and Tim Mount, Cornell University.

April 22, 2014, 2–3 pm ET: What Investments Should Be Made Now? Long-Run Transmission Expansion Under Uncertainty. Presented by Benjamin Hobbs, Johns Hopkins University.
