New ways to market your indoor air quality (IAQ) business in a recovering economy will be the subject matter of the upcoming presentation on May 11 at the Phoenix Airport Marriott.
Paul Cochrane, the founder of the IAQ industry’s only dedicated marketing and public relations firm, Cochrane & Associates, will be presenting creative and cost effective marketing techniques to members of the Phoenix Chapter of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) next week.
The Indoor Air Quality Association’s Phoenix Chapter has been providing professional forums to allow area members of the IAQA to share their experiences relevant to building sciences and indoor air quality. This cross-industry sharing of information provides insight into new developments and solutions in the ever changing face of IAQ.
The presentation will take place in Phoenix, Arizona and will run from 8 to 1 PM. Topics from Mr. Cochrane’s presentation will include how to enhance a company’s marketing and public relations utilizing new technologies such as social media, online videos, internet marketing and ways to increase search engine optimization. Traditional marketing methods such as direct mail, print advertising and tradeshow participation and methods to maximize returns will also be discussed.
Many industry professionals know Mr. Cochrane from his years as a vice president at Aerotech Laboratories, Inc. Through the use of creative and strategic marketing initiatives he was able to help grow Aerotech from 9 employees to over 330 in just 4 years to position the company for sale in 2004 to a strategic European buyer. During the past 4 years he has presided over Cochrane & Associates and recently launched the IAQ Video Network, which can be found at www.IAQTV.com.
“Being from the area myself, I’m looking forward to seeing my peers at the chapter workshop,” reported Paul Cochrane. “Marketing an IAQ business has changed in recent years due to innovations in technologies and recent challenges from the economy have caused companies to embrace new marketing techniques and to act creatively,” he continued.
In addition to the upcoming IAQA Phoenix Chapter presentation, Mr. Cochrane recently completed a presentation at the Philadelphia Chapter and will be speaking at the May 14th Houston Chapter Meeting, May 27th Honolulu Chapter Meeting, June 14th Santa Fe Chapter Meeting and August 18th Pensacola Chapter Meeting.
