It’s that time of year again with several industry events about to kick off in September. I’m pleased to say Microlise will be actively involved in most of them so please drop us a line if you’d like to arrange a meeting.
It’s an important year for the transport industry and as ever, you can expect the very biggest topics to be discussed including safety, compliance, plus Brexit and what it means for all of us.
The industry has been going through a period of sustained prosperity and stability, with rising truck sales and less pressure on prices at the pumps. With a new flavour of uncertainty in the air what can you expect in the coming year?
Microlise will be joining the FTA Transport Manager events again this year to engage in and contribute to the debate. The series features industry experts covering the most important topics and we’ll be travelling across the country from Chepstow to Dunblane and Durham to Yeovil showcasing our latest technologies and services at the same time.
We’ll also be sponsoring the RHA Compliance Conference, taking place at the Silverstone Circuits. With major developments set to take place in this arena, including the development of the Earned Recognition scheme (previously blogged about here), this is your chance to hear the latest from Senior Transport Commissioner Beverley Bell, the DVSA and other key influencers.
For those engineers among you, a highlight this September will be the IRTE Conference. It’s aimed at fleet managers, transport engineers and workshop managers. In association with the event we’ll be running a free, first come first served complementary Vehicle Health Seminar the day before at our headquarters near Nottingham. If you want to join, be sure to fill in our online form to confirm your attendance.
Well, that’s the September highlights – we hope to see you at one of them next month.
