HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., Aug. 31, 2011 /PR Newswire/ -- Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR), announced today that the Company's Environmental Air Solutions business unit has received an order, valued at nearly $500,000, to supply a Duall brand industrial odor control system to a leading food and flavorings manufacturer. The order is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of the Company's current fiscal year.

The system, which includes a Duall brand Hydro-Lance® venturi particulate collector, several wet scrubbers, control panels, ducting, and Tri-Stack® exhaust fans from Met-Pro's Strobic Air business unit, is designed to remove particulates and odorous vapors emitted from the food production process. Start-up and commissioning of the system will be managed by Met-Pro's Industrial Services group.

'This order, which includes the use of multiple Met-Pro air treatment technologies, illustrates our unique ability to provide customers with a total solution for all of their product recovery and air pollution control needs,' stated De Hont. 'It is also an excellent example of Met-Pro's diverse and synergistic product offerings. Together with a steady level of customer interest and quotation activity for similar type projects, it allows us to remain optimistic that we will receive more orders of this type in the near future.'
