SAN DIEGO - Mike Gonzales has joined RBF Consulting (RBF) as a Senior Natural Resources Project Manager and Senior Associate in the firm’s San Diego office. Mr. Gonzales, a Biology graduate from the University of California at San Diego, brings over 23 years of experience specializing in environmental compliance and project management experience in southern California. He has joined the expanding Natural Resources Team at RBF to develop and manage integrated services in the areas of biological consulting, wetland management and permitting, watershed management, conservation planning and other associated disciplines.
Mike joins RBF from PBS&J where he managed the preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents including the development of mitigation programs to facilitate construction of Master Plan projects impacting sensitive habitats. Prior to that role, Mike served as the Environmental Review Coordinator for the City of San Diego Water Department Capital Improvements Program (CIP). In this capacity, Mike managed staff and as-needed consultants in the preparation of environmental documents, coordination of permitting activities, and implementation of habitat mitigation and restoration programs for various CIP projects.
