World Bird Sanctuary watershed education programs feature birds of prey up close and in flight

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Missouri American Water and the World Bird Sanctuary are bringing watershed education programs to schools and community celebrations across the state in honor of Earth Day, marked on April 22, as well as the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking national Clean Water Act legislation.

The “Wings Over Water” programs feature birds of prey up close and in flight – a dramatic reminder that Missourians have an important role to play in preserving the safety and sustainability of the state’s water supply.

The programs include several visits to Jefferson City-area schools, plus free public programs at:
