Modern Water plc (AIM:MWG) has recruited a new Senior Manager as part of its planned growth in its Engineering department. The recruitment is in response to increased Client interest in Modern Water’s forward osmosis desalination technology and other forward osmosis processes, developed by the Company.
Brian Moore, Modern Water’s new Engineering Manager, joins from Thames Water. He is a Chartered chemical engineer with over twenty years of experience in municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment, and has previously worked in senior technical and management positions for client, contracting and consulting organisations. He has gained extensive international project experience from the Middle East, Far East, USA and Europe, and has spent four years based in Spain as PRIDESA/ Acciona Agua’s Technical Director, and a further three years in the United Arab Emirates as Project Manager for Mott MacDonald. His desalination experience spans his entire career; from seawater reverse osmosis plants in the early 1990s to most recently leading the delivery of the award winning 150,000 m3 per day brackish water desalination project on the Thames Estuary in London.
