June 23, 2015 -- MeasurIT Technologies are pleased to announce that Mosbaek A/S were awarded an Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) for their CEV flow regulator by the European Commission on 20 May 2015. The verification is an official and independent confirmation of the effect of companies' green products and technologies, and is evidence that the claims made about the innovation are both credible and scientifically sound. At present only three companies in Europe hold a verificate for their climate and environmental technologies.
'The verification is an incredibly important step for us as it supports our credibility and strengthens our competitiveness. One can say that we have had our knowledge and techniques in the field approved', says Torben Krejberg, Technical Director in Mosbaek A/S.
Mosbaek founder, Joergen Mosbaek Johannessen, was the first person in the world to conceive of the idea of a water brake. As a result, Mosbaek A/S has over 50 years’ experience and expertise with regard to the possibilities and limitations of flow regulators and have a large, worldwide export market.
The CEV is a vertical centrifugal flow regulator constructed of stainless steel with no moving parts. It has a bottom outlet which ensures that there is a water trap and that the orifice is as large as possible to reduce the risk of clogging. The CEV has a capacity between 0.2 l/s and 80 l/s and is designed for small and moderate volumes of storm water and certain types of industrial sewage.
