With the focus of the major function units now at the Frickingen site, HSM is now on the right track for further solid growth for the sound devlopment of its position on the global market.
The building is an exemplary model for environmental protection due to the very latest in air conditioning technology – all without an air conditioning system. In the summer the ground water is used for cooling and geo-thermal energy is used to heat the building in the winter. The building’s lighting is run using state-of-the-art sensors and automatic lighting control which first uses the daylight to the full, before resorting to electrical lighting.
“This building is just as we imagined it” says Hermann Schwelling, the Managing Director and founder, with satisfaction.
HSM is now environmentally certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 with the first plant in Reichenbach. Certification for the Frickingen and Salem plants is already underway and is expected to be ready this year.
