Phoenix, AZ, May 9th, 2012 -- Today, the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of another online video to help educate the public about issues that may impact their health. The latest educational video discusses mystery and nuisance odors.
Mystery odors in an indoor environment can result in everything from a nuisance to health concerns for building occupants. These same odors can even lower property values and in commercial and institutional settings may result in lower productivity, increased absenteeism and higher turnover rates.
“Whether in a residential property or an industrial setting, the source of an odor may sometimes be readily apparent,” reported Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network and the new public outreach video. “However, more often than not it can be a true mystery as there can be literally hundreds of possible sources of odors in a typical building. We hope this video helps to educate people about mystery odors and what they can do if they are confronted with one of their own.”
