NACWA Urges Congress to Reject Clean Water Cuts

The Obama Administration has proposed a significant decrease in funding for critical Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). These funds are used by water and wastewater utilities among others to provide services that help repair the country’s crumbling water infrastructure and protect human health and the environment. These funds have been reduced every year since 2004 while need for these funds has increased. NACWA has drafted a letter with six other national groups urging Congress to reject these cuts.
