OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Groundwater Protection Council and the U.S. Department of Energy will host the Stray Gas Incidence & Response Forum July 24-26, 2012 in Cleveland.
The GWPC announced this week the addition of scheduled presentations on groundwater protection and proactive measures to ensure public health and safety at the forum, a technical conference providing the scientific basis for stray gas investigations, including fundamentals on the physical and chemical properties and the transportation of stray gases.
Other discussion topics scheduled for the event include baseline data collection and interpretations, geochemical data evaluation, source diagnostics, threat assessment, case studies and rapid response protocols.
