Natural decontaminant ClearEarth set for brownfield development use

A newly investigated, naturally occurring material represents a significant advance over current decontamination processes. Made from organic matter, ClearEarth is a substance set to revolutionise the treatment of contaminated land and water.

The natural alternative to other remediation processes, ClearEarth material absorbs and locks up a range of contaminants including heavy metals, hydrocarbons, radio active materials and complex chemicals including pesticides.

Managing Director Simon Bruce is confident about ClearEarth’s success, stating his conviction that it can save time and money against other similar remediation processes: “ClearEarth is a naturally arising and regenerating material that works effectively and systematically, avoiding many of the issues other techniques encounter. Our tests have shown that ClearEarth is effective at mopping up many contaminants including heavy metals and crude oil and can also be used as a filter for water based pollutants.”

As a company ClearEarth is able to offer an entire remediation solution including material supply, delivery mechanisms and disposal options.

Being highly organic, ClearEarth also encourages the return of indigenous flora and fauna to blighted land and accelerates the healthy re-growth of land and purification of water contaminated through industrial, agricultural or natural activities.
