RIFLE, Colo., July 6, 2011 - Last month, Natural Resources USA Corporation (Symbol: NTRC) presented on a panel of experts at a 'Western Water Rights' conference hosted by Philadelphia based investment banking firm Boenning & Scattergood.
The conference served as an introduction to the water rights sector and explored the various ways in which companies and investors are approaching investment in water rights.
A selection of public and private companies with involvement in the ownership, development and marketing of water rights were approached to partake in the conference.
CEO and Chairman of Natural Resources USA Bill Gunn said educating the public as to the rising water scarcity is an essential step in sustaining the communities in which we live.
'The Western United States has been faced with a looming water crisis for a number of years now.
'We must continue to discuss this topic to understand the value of nature's most precious commodity to pursue appropriate strategies for development and investment in water rights,' said Mr. Gunn.
Mr. Gunn formed part of an expert panel of speakers at the conference and also presented on the topic of Desert Rivers.
'Among the Desert Rivers in the world that reach the sea, the Colorado River is one of the most significant and currently over 30 million people rely on this river as their source of water.
