NaturalDrive obtains 2011 certifications for GM Vans


NaturalDrive Partners, LLC,  has obtained model year 2011 certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its dedicated CNG system for General Motors full-size vans. This certification meets California’s SULEV emission standard for vehicles of this weight class, and provides laboratory data showing 21% reduction in CO2 greenhouse gas emissions as compared to gasoline operation. NaturalDrive’s certification includes all Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans with 8600 to 9900 GVWR, including the 135? wheelbase cargo vans.

The US Department of Treasury confirmed November 19 that 2011 General Motors Vehicles converted by NaturalDrive to operate solely on natural gas meet the requirements of the Qualified Alternative Fuel Motor Vehicle Credi11:51 AM 1/23/2011t, earning a tax credit of USD 8,000.
